Croswell Opera House celebrates rich history
The Croswell Opera House has a long and illustrious history that began on March 19, 1866. Considered to be the oldest theater in Michigan and one of the oldest continuously operating theaters in the United States, it was named for Charles M. Croswell, an Adrian resident who became the 17th governor of Michigan. Over the years, it has hosted many historical figures and events.
