Growing trend of container gardening trims down work
Anyone who has never gotten her hands dirty gardening, or who has a pittance of experience toiling in dirt, might have been unnerved by 44 master gardeners assembled at Toledo Botanical Garden to hear about container gardening. The intimidation would have been fleeting, though, because Cindy Bench’s talk about designing and planting container gardens was as enjoyable as it was informative. That, of course, put everyone at such ease that even the expert gardeners didn’t hesitate to ask her questions.
