BALTIMORE - Bowsher's Meshawn Graham and Woodmore's Emily Pendleton won titles over the weekend at the USATF National Junior Olympic Track and Field Championships.

Graham, who will be a junior, won yesterday's 400-meter intermediate girls race in 53.57.

Pendleton, who will be a senior, was first in discus in the young women's division on Friday with a toss of 51.57 meters, more than six meters farther than the runner-up. Pendleton's sister, Erin, who will be a sophomore, finished 10th in the intermediate girls discus with a throw of 35.04 meters.

Graham helped the Bowsher 800-meter relay team win a Division I state title in June. As a freshman, she won a state title in the 200. Emily Pendleton, is a three-time Division III state champion in discus.
