The Polka Floyd Show will play tomorrow night at Mickey Finn's and anyone who brings a toy will get in for free.

Think of it as rocking for tots.

Bring a toy for a needy child to Mickey Finn s at 10 tomorrow night, and you can shimmy to local music for free.

The Polka Floyd Show, a crazy knock-off of Pink Floyd, is headlining the holiday party.

Infusing the sounds of the classic rock band with an accordion was an idea credited to a combination of Polish genes and alcohol, said frontman Ken Haas.

The band delights in performing the entire Dark Side of the Moon album, sliding away into a two-step in lieu of the classic psychedelic solos, Haas said.

The Polka Floyd Show brought together longtime buddies from metal bands and traditional polka arrangements, creating an unexpectedly creative and experience. The style brightens Floyd classics what other band could inspire you to clap along or stomp your feet to Another Brick in the Wall ?

The band will perform with other Toledo-based rockers, The Zimmerman Twins, Mojoe Boes and His Noble Jones, and punk-inspired Larry Love. Sponsoring the show are Reverend Guitars and Durdel s Music, after Haas s role as a sales representative for Reverend brought the group together.

We re all connected in a business sense and decided to come together for Toys for Tots to do something special his holiday season, Haas said of tomorrow s eclectic roundup.

The party starts at 10 p.m. tomorrow at Mickey Finn s, 602 Lagrange St. Admission is free with a toy to be donated to the charity, Toys for Tots, or $5 for those over 21 years, $7 for those under 21 years.
