Art fair returns to Levis Commons for 9th year

    Levis Commons Fine Art Fair will be Aug. 17 and 18 in the Town Center at Levis Commons in Perrysburg. In its ninth year, it will include a wide variety of work by 125 artists selected from 275 applicants. The fair will have a children’s activity center organized by the Toledo School for the Arts, whose students will help with art projects and paint faces. Hours for the children’s area will be 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.

    Local people who will be selling are Candra Boggs, Amy Beeler, Joseph Jacoby, Thomas Sanders, Amy Schultz, Clyde Vermillion, Wanda Zuchowski-Schick, Robert and Richard Ruehle, Janice Moore, and Mary Jane Erard. Art fair hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. This fair is organized by the Guild of Artists and Artisans, a nonprofit membership organization of artists that produces five art fairs each year. Admission and parking are free.     Live in Concert, photographs spanning 25 years of rock concerts by Jennifer Ziolkowski, is at Starbucks, Levis Commons, through Sept. 30. The display, featuring images of musicians such as KISS, David Lee Roth, Zac Brown Band, Kid Rock, and Kenny Chesney, performing at Toledo Sports Arena, Joe Louis Arena in Detroit, and Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado, is organized by Prizm Creative Community.
