Hudson Gallery to open Africa-themed exhibit

Hudson Gallery will host a reception Saturday to mark the exhibit, Africas: Contemporary Work from the Continent.

The exhibit aims to shine light on the mix of cultures in Africa, gallery officials said. On display will be works by Fred Mutebi, Jak Katarikawe, Sane Wadu, Rosemary Karuga, Tunde Odunlade, Ibou Ndoye, Tayo Denaike, and Stanley Agbontaen.

The reception starts at 6 p.m. in the gallery, 5645 N. Main St. Nigerian print and textile artist Tunde Odunlade will speak at the reception.
