577 Foundation seeks fiber artists

Annual 2-day art exhibit to be held June 7-8

The 577 Foundation is seeking entries for its annual two-day art exhibit, fiber577.

The show, set for June 7 and 8, is judged by artists working in the fiber or fiber-influenced media, and artists will be eligible for several monetary awards.

Live musical entertainment, artist demonstrations, and other educational opportunities are to be featured.

Applications are at fiber577.com and will be accepted until April 18. Last year the show had more than 1,200 visitors at the property at 577 E. Front St.
