In developing a citywide strategic plan for arts and culture, the Arts Commission will hold three public meetings in neighborhoods near downtown. Residents, business owners, and others invested in the neighborhoods will discuss topics such as assets, obstacles, and opportunities relating to arts and culture.

Pizza will be served in the Scott High School cafeteria during the 5:30 to 7:30 pm meeting for the Cherry Street area Wednesday.

The school is at 2400 Collingwood Blvd.

On Feb. 5, from 6 to 7:30 p.m., people living or working in the Dorr Street corridor area, from downtown to the University of Toledo, are invited to meet at Picket Academy, 1144 Blum St. Refreshments will be offered.

And from 6 to 9 p.m. Feb. 7, people in the Old South End can give their views at the Sophia Quintero Art & Culture Center, 1225 Broadway St., where there will also be refreshments.

A final, citywide meeting will be held in the spring, but no date has been set yet.

The arts and culture survey can be filled out online at theartscommission.org. For additional details: 419-254-2787 and rmccartney@theartscommission.org.
