Wis. woman wins Cooper Tire contest

FINDLAY — A Wisconsin woman is the winner of Cooper Tire & Rubber Co.’s “My Every Day Road Trip” contest.

The company had invited consumers to show — through video, written stories, and photos — how their everyday journeys are sometimes not so everyday. Lisa Larson won the top prize of a year’s worth of free gasoline and a set of Cooper tires.

Cooper said her entry, which featured her two young daughters pedaling a three-wheeler around a snow-dusted driveway, “brought to light the importance of relying on tires for her family’s safety, even before they leave the driveway.”

Arnold’s, Hens offernew-roof giveaway

Arnold’s Home Improvement and the Toledo Mud Hens are teaming up for a “Raze the Roof” contest, with the winning homeowner getting a new roof.

To enter, visit www.arnoldshomeimprovement.com, submit contact information, upload a photo of your worn-out roof, and submit a short essay on why a new roof is needed. The entry deadline is Monday.

After 10 finalists are selected, the public will be able to vote for the winner on Arnold’s Home Improvement Facebook page.
