NEW BOSTON, Mich. — An auto-parts supplier is opening a $110 million plant in suburban Detroit that will employ 400 workers.
French company Plastic Omnium plans a ribbon-cutting today for the Inergy Automotive Systems facility, located in Wayne County near New Boston.
The facility will produce about 1.5 million plastic fuel tanks a year.
Inergy Automotive Systems is a subsidiary of Plastic Omnium, which makes automotive components and body modules.
