LOS ANGELES — Get ready for the monster ’Vette.
Chevrolet plans to unleash a 650-horsepower Corvette Z06 late this year as a 2015 model.
The automaker said it will be among the few cars with more than 600 horses that you can buy at a dealership in the United States. It will be the most powerful production car ever from General Motors Co., Chevy’s corporate parent.
GM hasn’t talked about pricing yet, but it will surely be well above the $53,000 starting price for the standard 455-horsepower model.
