Cassidy Wyse poured in 23 points to lead Archbold to a 50-40 victory Saturday over Delta in a Division III girls basketball district championship at Anthony Wayne.
The Blue Streaks led just 22-20 at the half and 31-27 after three quarters.
They racked up 19 points in the fourth quarter to repeat as district champs.
Wyse, a senior forward, scored 15 of her game-high 23 points at the free-throw line.
Senior guard Jesse Fidler tallied 10 points, while junior forward Hannah Hesterman had eight and junior guard Cassidy Williams finished with seven.
Archbold (23-2), the No. 4 ranked team in the state, advances to play Liberty-Benton in a regional semifinal Tuesday at Ohio Northern University.
Liberty-Benton defeated Ottawa-Glandorf 72-58 to win a district title.
The Eagles were ranked No. 6 in the final state poll.
Delta (15-10) was led by Morgan Mattimore, who scored 17 points. Junior guard Brigan Wymer chipped in with 12 points.
Delta held off Ottawa Hills 53-53 Thursday to reach the district title game for the first time in school history.
The Blue Streaks reached regional final last year where they lost 60-42 to Columbus Africentric.
Archbold has twice qualified to the state semifinals, finishing runner-up in 2002.
Carey 48, Arcadia 45
GIBSONBURG — Carey staged a late comeback, outscoring Arcadia 16-11 in the fourth quarter.
Ali Rymer paced Carey (23-2) with 13 points, Sydney Wentling added 12, and Hannah Draper scored 10.
Molly Glick poured in 28 points for Arcadia (20-6).
Holgate 51, Ayersville 47
ARCHBOLD — Rachel Desgranges scored 18 points to lead Holgate. Mattie Grim added 17 and Marissa Myles had 13.
Holgate trailed by one at halftime but used a 17-9 third quarter edge to help pull away.
Molly Hammersmith paced Ayersville with 12 points and Brittany Addington scored 10.
