Toledo Christian wins Division IV district title

CLYDE — Kody Brown pitched seven innings of two-hit ball to lead the Toledo Christian baseball team to a 5-2 win over Cardinal Stritch in today‘s Division IV district championship game.

Brown allowed two runs over seven innings, and got plenty of support. Kyle Kempton and Brett Freeman hit back-to-back run-scoring doubles in a four-run third inning.

The Eagles advance to play to Thursday’s regional semifinal at Patrick Henry, where they will face the winner of today‘s district final between Defiance Ayersville and Defiance Tinora.
