Nebraska-Omaha topples Bowling Green

BOWLING GREEN - Allan Carr had a goal and two assists and Dan Ellis made 23 saves as Nebraska-Omaha defeated Bowling Green 3-1 last night.

Scott Turner opened the scoring three minutes into the game on assists from Jason White and Carr, beating Bowling Green goaltender Tyler Masters for his second goal of the season. The Falcons (2-9-4, 2-7-4 CCHA) evened it at 1 when Ryan Murphy scored at 13:50 of the second.

Nebraska-Omaha (8-8-1, 5-5-1) went ahead for good with 41 seconds remaining in the second when David Brisson scored his seventh of the season on feeds from Jeff Hoggan and Carr.

Masters turned away 26 shots.
