Notes: Kent is ranked No. 23 in the AP and will be the first ranked men s team to visit Anderson Arena since 1999. Kent beat BG 63-49 on Jan. 12 at the M.A.C. Center. BG is coming off an 81-65 victory at Detroit last Saturday, which snapped a three-game losing streak. Kent has a one-game lead over Western Michigan in the MAC standings and a two-game lead over Akron in the East. The Flashes are coming off a win at nationally ranked Saint Mary s on Saturday. Junior guard Al Fisher leads the team in scoring with 14.4 points per game and ranks second in the MAC with 4.3 assists per game. Senior forwards Mike Scott and Haminn Quaintance are averaging 12.9 and 10.2 ppg, respectively.

Notes: The Falcons have already clinched a first-round bye for the MAC tournament, and a win today would give them a share of the MAC title, their fourth straight championship. BG will win the MAC title outright with wins today and Wednesday at Akron. The Falcons defeated Buffalo 75-56 on Jan. 19. It was their seventh straight in this series. Stephanie Bennett leads the Bulls in scoring with 13.1 ppg. Heather Turner averages 11.8 points and 7.4 rebounds. BG has won seven straight, including an 82-67 victory Wednesday at Ohio. Kate Achter scored 27 points for BG in the win, and Lauren Prochaska poured in 21.
