BGSU advertises hockey coaching job

BOWLING GREEN — Bowling Green State University officially listed the hockey coaching position among the university's available employment opportunities.

That doesn't necessarily mean Dennis Williams, who served as interim head coach this season, will not return next season.

“Dennis definitely wants to be the head coach of Bowling Green ice hockey,” said BG athletic communications assistant Ryan Gasser. “He's expected to be a serious contender for the job.”

Williams was named interim head coach last summer after former coach Scott Paluch resigned. Williams played for the Falcons from 1997 to 2001. BG was 5-25-6 this season.
