BOWLING GREEN -- The Bowling Green State University women's basketball team's 2011-12 schedule will include 14 games in the new Stroh Center beginning with a regular-season home opener against Purdue.

The Falcons will play a home exhibition game Nov. 1 against Findlay, then play their first regular-season game Nov. 17 against the Boilermakers. That contest will mark BG's first home game against a Big Ten team since Indiana visited Anderson Arena on Dec. 6, 2006.

Other nonconference home games are November contests against Evansville and Western Kentucky, as well as December games against Butler, Austin Peay and Jacksonville.

Bowling Green will begin the season Nov. 11 at Dayton. Other highlights include a game at Creighton and a western trip that includes contests at Wyoming and Colorado State.

The Falcons open Mid-American Conference play Jan. 4 at the Stroh Center against Kent State, the first of three home games BG will play to start the MAC season.

BG will play Feb. 11 at rival Toledo.
