BGSU men's basketball gets second verbal commitment

BOWLING GREEN - Richaun Holmes, a 6-foot-8 product of Lockport Township High School in Lockport, Ill., has verbally committed to join the Bowling Green State University men's basketball team next season.

Holmes is the second player to verbally commit to join the Falcons next season. Spencer Parker of West Bloomfield, Mich., verbally committed to BG in late September.

Holmes will play this winter at Moraine Valley Community College in Palos Hills, a suburb of Chicago. Last season Holmes set a school record at Lockport Township with 150 blocks.

NCAA rules prohibit Falcons coach Louis Orr from commenting on Holmes' commitment.
