BOWLING GREEN -- Kevin Farrell has been named the new head coach of the men's golf program at Bowling Green State University. Farrell spent the last three seasons at Mount St. Mary's, where he was the men's coach for three years and the women's coach for one season.

Farrell was named the 2012 Northeast Conference Coach of the Year after leading Mount St. Mary's to its first men's NEC Championship and NCAA Regional appearance. In 2011 he led the Mountaineers to a third-place finish in the NEC, the team's best finish since 1998.
