BGSU hockey player named defenseman of the week

BOWLING GREEN -- Bowling Green State University's Bobby Shea was named Central Collegiate Hockey Association defenseman of the week, the league announced today.

Shea, a senior from Harrison Township, Mich., had his best weekend since joining the Falcons as BG posted a win and a tie at Alaska last Friday and Saturday. He recorded two assists in each game for a four-point series.

Shea was also plus-5 over the two-game set and recorded three blocked shots for the Falcons.
