Bowling Green women beat Duquesne 61-54 in WNIT second round game

BOWLING GREEN -- The Bowling Green State University women's basketball team defeated Duquesne 61-54 in a second-round Women's NIT game at the Stroh Center tonight.

Jill Stein scored a career-high 16 points to lead the Falcons (24-10), while Jillian Halfhill added 14.

Vanessa Abel finished with 14 points to lead the Dukes (24-8), while Wumi Agunbiade scored 12 and Orsi Szecsi 12.

Bowling Green will host Drexel, which beat Harvard tonight, in a third-round WNIT game 7 p.m. Thursday at the Stroh Center.
