BLOOMINGTON, Ind. — The Bowling Green State University football team suffered a 42-10 loss to Indiana at Memorial Stadium today.
The Hoosiers scored on the second play of the fourth period when Nate Sudfeld scored on a 1-yard run at 14:23 of the period, and after a Falcon fumble IU scored on a 3-yard run by Tre Roberson.
Bowling Green finished with 409 yards of total offense but converted just 8-of-20 third downs, was 0-for-6 on 4th downs and scoreless in three red-zone trips.

The lone touchdown of the third quarter came on a 33-yard pass by Hoosiers quarterback Nate Sudfeld to Cody Latimer at 10:11 of the quarter.
The Falcons twice drove deep into Indiana territory in the period, but Matt Johnson was intercepted by Nick Mangieri at the IU 20 to stop the first drive, and William Houston was stopped short on a fourth-and-1 run at the IU 19.

The Falcons took a 10-7 lead at 11:06 of the second quarter when Tyler Tate kicked a 45-yard field goal. Then BG recovered a fumble on the kickoff return, but failed on a fourth-and-1 play from the Hoosiers' 22.
Indiana promptly drove 72 yards on eight plays and took the lead on a 43-yard touchdown run by Tevin Coleman at 8:20 of the quarter.
After a Bowling Green punt the Hoosiers drove 80 yards on six plays, with Nate Sudfeld throwing an eight-yard TD toss to Kofi Hughes with 2:44 left in the half.

Twice Indiana drove to BG's one, but on both occasions the Falcons stopped IU on fourth down.
