BOWLING GREEN — Bowling Green State University men’s basketball player Richaun Holmes was named Mid-American Conference East Division player of the week for the second week in a row.
The junior forward scored 38 points, grabbed 19 rebounds, and blocked 14 shots to lead the Falcons to a pair of wins last week.
Holmes recorded his first career double-double at BG with 21 points and 14 rebounds in a home win over North Dakota on Dec. 11, then followed that up with 17 points and five rebounds in the team's victory at Morehead State on Sunday.
Women play UMass on Thursday at Stroh
BOWLING GREEN — The Bowling Green State University women’s basketball team’s game against UMass has been rescheduled for 2 p.m. on Thursday at the Stroh Center.
The game was set for Sunday, but UMass’ team flight was canceled because of bad weather.
