■ Notes: The Falcons look to win their third in a row this season as well as third straight in series against the Titans. BG also has won six of the last eight meetings. … Detroit has lost twice to Toledo this season, dropping a two-point decision at home and by 16 at Savage Arena. … The Titans, who also lost by 19 points at Akron, were picked to finish eighth in the nine-team Horizon League in a preseason poll. … Detroit is led by Juwan Howard, Jr., the son of the former Michigan and NBA standout. The 2010-11 team opened the season 15-1. … Purdue was picked to finish third in the Big Ten in a coaches preseason poll. … The Boilermakers’ only losses came to nationally ranked Duke and Stanford.
