BGSU suffers 56-51 loss to Eastern Michigan

BOWLING GREEN -- The Bowling Green State University men's basketball team suffered a 56-51 loss to Eastern Michigan in the Mid-American Conference opener for both schools at the Stroh Center tonight.

Richaun Holmes finished with 17 points to lead the Falcons (6-8, 0-1 MAC), while Jehvon Clarke scored 11 and both Spencer Parker and Anthony Henderson each had 10.

Mike Talley scored 14 points and Karrington Ward added 13 for Eastern Michigan (9-5, 1-0 MAC).

 

HALFTIME

The Bowling Green State University men's basketball team trails Eastern Michigan 24-23 at halftime at the Stroh Center tonight.

The Falcons are led by Richaun Holmes, who has scored 12 points.

Eastern Michigan is led by Karrington Ward with seven points and Mike Talley with six.
