BOWLING GREEN -- Bowling Green State University's Alexis Rogers was named Mid-American Conference women's basketball East Division player of the week, the league announced today.
Rogers averaged 21.0 points and 9.5 rebounds to lead the Falcons to wins at Ohio and Toledo last week. She had 20 points and seven rebounds as BG won at Ohio Thursday, then added 22 points and 12 boards in the Falcons win at Toledo Sunday.
For the season Rogers is averaging 14.3 points and 8.4 rebounds per game for Bowling Green, which is 18-3 overall and in first place in the MAC's East Division with an 8-1 mark.
