BGSU senior Jillian Halfhill named MAC East player of the week

Bowling Green's Jillian Halfhill posted a double-double with 21 points and 10 rebounds in the Falcons' 61-56 win at Eastern Michigan Saturday

BOWLING GREEN -- Bowling Green State University's Jillian Halfhill was named Mid-American Conference women's basketball East Division player of the week, the league announced today.

The senior from Canfield, Ohio, posted a double-double with 21 points and 10 rebounds in the Falcons' 61-56 win at Eastern Michigan Saturday. Halfhill also connected on four 3-pointers in the win.

This marked the second time this season Halfhill received this honor from the MAC.
