BGSU women down St. Bonaventure 76-65

BGSU women surge, holds on to beat St. Bonaventure 76-65; will host Michigan Thursday at 7 p.m.


BOWLING GREEN — The Bowling Green State University women's basketball team defeated St. Bonaventure 76-65 in a Women's NIT second-round game at the Stroh Center today.

The Falcons now will host Michigan in the third round WNIT contest Thursday at the Stroh Center starting at 7 p.m.

Erica Donovan scored 22 points to lead four players in double figures for the Falcons (29-4). Jillian Halfhill scored 18 points, Miriam Justinger 17 and Jasmine Matthews 11 for BG.

Katie Healy scored 22 points to lead St. Bonaventure (24-11), which also got 17 from Hannah Little and 13 from Emily Michael.
