BOWLING GREEN — The coaching staff for the Bowling Green State University men’s basketball team is starting to come together.

The Ttribune-Star newspaper in Terre Haute, Ind., is reporting that Indiana State assistant coach David Ragland will become an assistant at BG, while the Charleston Daily Mail is reporting that Mark Downey, formerly the head coach at Division II West Alabama, has left that job to join the Falcons coaching staff.

The two are joining the staff of new head coach Chris Jans, who was named to the position in late March.
