MAKING good on an auction package sold at the Art and Autism event held last summer at Barbara Steele's Perrysburg home were Tim Valko and Jim Moore, who sold two dinner packages to be at their Westmoreland home. The first of the dinners was held last week and it may have been a casual attire night but the menu was intense, all made by Dr. Valko and Mr. Moore: French onion soup dumplings, roasted pears, scallops and roasted portobello mushrooms in phyllo, cauliflower soup, fresh grape and champagne sorbet, marinated pork tenderloin with a dried cherry compote, corn pudding, roasted asparagus, and dessert: Chocolate buttermilk cake with a praline chocolate mousse, raspberries, and sauces. Of course, everything was paired with wine.
