The best to you for health, wealth, and happiness n 2014, a new year of hope. Parties were plentiful on the eve of the new year as revelers bid farewell to 2013. Here are a few of the many celebrations

The Toledo Club's multi-floor gala was the biggest formal party in town. The black tie optional event started with hors d'oeuvres in the grand lobby decorated with glittering holiday decor and trees.

Club members and guests enjoyed a gourmet dinner in a grandeur setting fit for royalty with crystal candelabras, sparkling plates, shimmery tables, and spectacular red flowers.

The Swingmania band enticed folks to pack the dance floor.

Later, more party goers joined the fun in the casino room, and for dancing and balloon drop with a champagne toast.

Bravo to Barbara Baker for the decorations and the planning of the casino room. She was assisted by Fred and Nita Harrington, Traci Schwann, Cindy Niggemeyer, and Barbara Bettinger.

Some folks celebrated at an early dinner. Meanwhile, a children's party proved to be fun for many families.
