Author Robert Matzen talked about the actress, who was the wife of famous actor Clark Gable, and then he signed and sold books. The Pittsburgh native has written a few books on Hollywood actors.

The Carole Lombard book talks about her life and those of the other 21 who died on the plane, including 15 members of the U.S. Army Air Corps. It is a mystery of World War II, on a clear night full of stars how one of the most experienced pilots with a new aircraft with good engines crashed into a Nevada mountainside.

The book published in 2013 can be found for about $20 on Amazon.com.
