Defiance College falls to Bethany

BETHANY, W. Va.- Defiance lost 35-28 to Bethany in the last game of the season.

The Bison passing game did in the Yellow Jackets, accounting for 359 yards and two touchdowns.

Defiance' Darin Lomason rushed for 141 yards and one touchdown, while Marshall Weathers netted 36 yards and two rushing scores.

Nate Fitton threw 17 times, completing five passes for 67 yards.

Aaron Schmidt led Defiance in receiving with two grabs for 40 yards. Freshman Gary Allen had a big kick return of 51 yards in the first half.

Defiance ends the season with a 1-9 record and a 0-5 mark in the Hoosier Collegiate Athletic Conference.
