Former Bowling Green State University football coach Urban Meyer will be the keynote speaker March 2 at the Make-A-Wish Foundation's 12th annual All-Star Celebrity Sports Auction at SeaGate Centre.

Meyer, who recently completed his first season as coach at Florida with a bowl victory and a 9-3 record, resurrected the program at Bowling Green before moving on to Utah, where he produced a 12-0 season and began his association with Make-A-Wish.

"When I got involved with Make-A-Wish in Salt Lake City, I saw what a huge impact they had on the lives of people, and especially with sick kids," Meyer said. "So many of us are fortunate to be healthy and have healthy kids, but not everyone is that lucky."

The event will offer numerous items for auction, including autographed jerseys from Ben Roethlisberger and Joe Montana, vacation packages, and a pin flag from the Memorial Tournament autographed by Jack Nicklaus.
