Ex-UT softball coach alleges school violated Title IX
A former University of Toledo softball coach filed a federal lawsuit Wednesday alleging the school violated Title IX, which prevents bias in an entity that receives federal funding. In a U.S. District Court filing, former UT coach Tarrah Beyster said there were “glaring inequalities” between the baseball and softball programs, that she was subjected to a hostile work environment, and she was bullied into a “forced resignation” in November 2013.
