Stacking Coupons

9/22/2011

Stacking coupons is just one of the ways that extreme couponers make out like bandits in the grocery store! Stacking coupons means using two coupons on a single item; a manufacturer coupon and a store coupon.  When done correctly, stacking coupons can drive down the cost of your grocery and household items.

In order to be successful you need to know which stores allow coupon stacking.  In Toledo we have Target, Walgreens, Meijer and Rite Aid.  But the real question is where do you find the store coupons?

Target

Online Coupons – Target offers hundreds of store coupons online. You can print them out just like you do at other printable coupon sites.  Target limits you to printing two per computer.

Inserts – Occasionally, Target will put store coupons in The Blade inserts! Just keep an eye out for the Target logo.

Home Mailers – Target will mail out very nice coupon books to people on their mailing lists. I am not exactly sure how you get on the so called list but I will tell you that after I filled a prescription at Target I did start to receive the coupons in the mail.

Walgreens

In-Ad Coupons – Just your weekly ad! Almost every week you will find Walgreens store coupons in the Sunday paper.

Monthly Coupon Book – Walgreens releases a monthly coupon book with hundreds of store coupons inside. You can find these coupon books at the front of the store, usually in the same spot as the sales flyers.

Meijer

Meijer Mealbox Coupons – Head to Meijer Mealbox.com to find several store coupons to print. The mealbox coupons tend to match up with current sale items. There is no limit to the amount of mealbox coupons you can print.
