Girl to stand trial as adult for murder of woman

FINDLAY — A Fostoria teen charged with killing a Findlay woman was certified to stand trial as an adult on Friday by Hancock County Juvenile Court Judge Allan Davis.

Nicole Peters, 17, is charged with aggravated murder in the March 26 death of Vera Jo Reigle, 24. The victim suffered multiple blunt and sharp trauma wounds before her body was left on railroad tracks in Findlay. Also charged in Ms. Reigle’s death is Daniel Bixler, 21, of Tiffin.

Judge Davis set bond at $1 million for Miss Peters and ordered her held at the Hancock County jail.
