FINDLAY — A 25-year-old man was indicted by a Hancock County grand jury for allegedly setting fire to a Findlay fast-food restaurant in June.
Thomas Reese, 1901 Kirkwood Ct., Apt. 5, Findlay, was indicted Tuesday on vandalism charges, according to court records. He is accused of setting fire to Burger King, 1700 Tiffin Ave., on June 6.
He is also accused of setting fire to a Findlay Wendy’s, 500 Tiffin Ave., that same night. Damage to Wendy’s was estimated at $1 million, while damage to Burger King is estimated at $100,000.
The blazes were two of three fires at businesses reported the morning of June 6. The fire department also responded to a suspicious Dumpster fire at Best Buy at the Findlay Village Mall.
