FINDLAY — Bond was set at $1 million Thursday for a Findlay man charged with murder in the death of his wife.

Evan Donoho, 26, was arraigned by video from the Hancock County jail before Findlay Municipal Court Judge Robert Fry who scheduled a preliminary hearing in the case for Oct. 6. Mr. Donoho was arrested Monday night for the murder of his wife of one year, Danielle Robinson Donoho, 29, whose body was found Tuesday morning in a field south of Findlay by police investigating her disappearance.

An autopsy showed Mrs. Donoho died from multiple blunt trauma to the head, according to Hancock County Coroner Dr. Mark Fox.

Mr. Donoho, who has no prior criminal record, served in the U.S. Army from 2008 to 2010, including a one-year tour in Afghanistan, Army officials said.
