BOWLING GREEN — A former Perrysburg woman who admitted to setting fire to her apartment at Perry Lake Village was sentenced Monday to four years in prison.

Chelsie Smothers, 20, who now lives at 445 Whitlock Ave., pleaded guilty in December to two counts of arson in a plea agreement with prosecutors. She had been indicted by a Wood County grand jury on two counts of aggravated arson for the Feb. 16, 2011 fire that caused more than $1 million in damages to the apartment complex on Lake Vue Drive in Perrysburg. No one was injured.

Wood County Common Pleas Judge Reeve Kelsey also ordered her to pay $39,732.91 in restitution for damages not covered by insurance.
