Toledo man indicted in city slaying, assault

A Toledo man accused in the killing of an East Toledo man and using a pocketknife to attack a woman has been indicted by a Lucas County grand jury.

John Garcia, Jr., 33, is charged with two counts of murder and one count of felonious assault.

The indictment handed up Thursday stems from the killing of Christopher Ogden, 30, and stabbing of Brenda Watts, 36, Toledo, on March 28 on Woodford Street.
