Meet the judicial candidates for Perrysburg court

A meet the candidates event is set for 7 p.m. today at the Holiday Inn Express, hosted by Northwest Ohio Conservative Coalition and the Northern Wood County Republican club for the Perrysburg Municipal Court judge position.

The event will have the three runners that will be on the May 7 ballot for republican candidate position. C. Drew Griffith, Molly Mack, and Aram Ohanian are the three candidates. The public will be available to meet and ask questions to the candidates.

The candidates will get about 10 to 15 minutes to give information about themselves before questions.

"It is a great opportunity to hear questions from the constituents," Mrs. Mack said. "We can present information about ourselves and it helps us know what constituents want." 

The position is open to replace Judge S. Dwight Osterud, who is retiring. Perrysburg city council member Tom Mackin will also be running in the November election for the judge's opening but as a non-partisan candidate.
