Bond was set Thursday at $1.675 million for a Toledo man charged in the Oct. 5 shooting death of Jonathan Morris at Ravine Park Village.

Lucas County Common Pleas Judge Frederick McDonald ordered the bond for Jonathon Johnson, 23, of 1657 Vance St., who was indicted by a Lucas County grand jury this week for aggravated murder, murder, aggravated robbery, felonious assault, carrying a concealed weapon, illegal possession of a firearm in liquor permit premises, escape, and trespass in a habitation.

Johnson had been charged with a single count of obstructing justice in the death of Mr. Morris, 22, but a new indictment was handed up this week based on new information that points to Johnson as the shooter in the case, prosecutors said. He is to be arraigned April 23.
