A Toledo man who robbed a North Toledo pizza shop on Christmas Eve was placed on community control Wednesday for four years.

Lucas County Common Pleas Judge Gary Cook also ordered Daniel Huggins, 37, of 807 Walnut St. to spend six months at the Community Treatment Facility in Toledo, followed by four months in the work-release program, and then four months on electronic monitoring.

Huggins, who pleaded no contest to robbery last month, admitted to robbing Little Caesar’s Pizza, 3145 Lagrange St., but said he was bipolar and was not taking his medication.
