A Toledo Municipal Court judge’s proposal to assign one judge to handle all domestic violence cases could be voted on by the seven municipal judges in mid-May.
Judge Michelle Wagner wants the judges to vote on her plan for a designated domestic violence docket at a May 16 meeting. She announced her initiative last week and also passed out research to the judges at a monthly meeting.
“It’s in its infancy,” Judge Wagner said, adding the change requires a “tremendous amount of details to work out.”
