On the day he was to have gone to trial, a Toledo teen gave prosecutors a different version of what happened the night two other teens were shot, one fatally.

Davion Wilson, 17, of 1260 Buckingham St. entered an Alford plea Monday and was found guilty of involuntary manslaughter and felonious assault with a gun specification. Lucas County Common Pleas Judge Linda Jennings sentenced him to 15 years in prison. In an Alford plea, a defendant does not admit to committing a crime but acknowledges evidence is sufficient for a conviction.

Frank Spryszak, an assistant Lucas County prosecutor, said Wilson admits he was involved but alleges another teen shot Deadrick Rocker.

The charges stemmed from the Dec. 30, 2011, shooting death of Deadrick Rocker, 17, and the wounding of Shakur Shabaa, 16. Both were shot late Dec. 30 at Hoag and Tecumseh.
