Bond set at $750,000 for Toledo teen accused of cutting police officer, shooting into home

A Toledo teenager accused of shooting into a home one day and cutting a police officer the next was ordered to be held in the Lucas County jail in lieu of $750,000 bond.

Deleno Stine, 18, of 1645 Western Ave., is charged with improperly discharging a firearm into a habitation and two counts of felonious assault. He was arraigned in Toledo Municipal Court today.

Police allege that Mr. Stine shot into a house in the 800 block of Geneva Avenue in South Toledo, on Friday night. In the shooting, a woman reported being struck in her arm by a bullet.

Saturday night, police allege that Mr. Stine used a knife to cut an officer on her face when Detective Deb Hahn physically intervened as the suspect allegedly assaulted a woman.

The suspect tried to escape by jumping into the Maumee River.
