A Clyde man is in the Lucas County jail after authorities say he threatened to shoot a magistrate.

Wayne Lewis, Sr., 42, whose address is listed as a P.O. box, is charged in Toledo Municipal Court with two counts of making terroristic threats. During an arraignment Tuesday, Mr. Lewis was ordered to be held in the jail in lieu of $250,000 bond.

According to court documents, Mr. Lewis on May 3 threatened to shoot Magistrate Alan Mutchler, who works in Lucas County Domestic Relations Court.

Mr. Lewis was involved with the courts because of a pending divorce, according to Lucas County Common Pleas Court records.
