Bond set at $1 million each for 2 suspects in 2012 murder

Two people accused in a West Toledo shooting death were arraigned in Toledo Municipal Court today.

Charged with murder, Ashley Hundstrucker and Kevin Brooks, both 23, were ordered to be held in the Lucas County jail in lieu of $1 million bond for each of them. Both were scheduled for preliminary hearings on June 6.

Also charged with murder for the Dec. 31 death of Brian Minley, 24, is Daquaine Booth, 25, who is still at large.

In court documents, Ms. Hundstrucker, of 3940 Lockwood Ave., is accused of driving Brooks and Mr. Booth from the crime scene in the 1200 block of Berdan Avenue.

Brooks, of 3208 Maple St., and Mr. Booth, of 3314 Cherry St., are accused of being at the crime scene when Mr. Minley was robbed and then fatally shot. No further details about who might have shot the victim were available.
