A Toledo woman charged with the stabbing death of her former husband has declined two offers to plead guilty to reduced charges in the case.

Jackie Kenney-Cobb, 42, of 913 Evesham Ave. is set to go to trial June 10 in Lucas County Common Pleas Court on charges of aggravated murder, murder, and aggravated burglary stemming from the Sept. 19, 2011 death of Michael Cobb, 54.

Mike Loisel, an assistant Lucas County prosecutor, said in court Friday that his office offered to have Ms. Kenney-Cobb plead guilty to murder, which carries a life sentence with parole eligibility after 15 years, or to plead guilty to involuntary manslaughter and aggravated burglary and receive an agreed-upon sentence of 20 years in prison.

She declined both offers after conferring with her attorneys.
